The Right Way to Treat a Burn with Cellquest Topical Gel

Cellquest topical gel has a lot of great benefits for your skin, but it can also be used as a first aid treatment for burns. Cellquest topical gel is great for burns, because it soothes and moisturizes the skin, as well as cooling the skin to prevent blistering. Yet you don’t want to put topical gel on a burn right away. Here is the right way to treat a burn.

Step One: Cool the burn by placing the affected body part under cold running water for at least two minutes.

Step Two: Remove rings and other tight items in case the appendage begins to swell and blister.

Step Three: Apply Cellquest Topical Gel. A little bit goes a long way, but make sure that you apply enough that it can soak into the skin and help the burn.

Step Four: Cover the burn with a bandage to protect the area while it heals. Make sure you use sterile gauze bandages instead of cotton. Wrap it loosely to avoid putting pressure on the burned skin.

Step Five: If any blisters do come up, make sure that you do not pop them intentionally. This can lead to infection.

In addition to these steps, if the pain is bad, you might want to take an over the counter pain reliever such as Tylenol, Ibuprofen, or something similar, as per your doctor’s instructions. If any burn seems severe, blisters and pops, or doesn’t start healing within a few days, you should see your doctor. While the burn is healing you can continue to apply Cellquest Topical Gel to keep the area conditioned and soothed.
